SCHOOL MURALS

Imagine a campus that welcomes students before anyone speaks a word...a campus that captivates students’ senses with images and words, which inspire them to fulfill their potential and to live a kinder and more tolerant life.

Imagine a campus that is rich in color and art and you have the campus of Millikan Middle School and what I have been able to create with the help of the students in my Rainbow Council and Environmental Art, a class Millikan use to offer during summer school.

As there are far too many murals and messages on the walls of Millikan Middle School to include on this page, you may want to set some time aside just to walk Millikan’s beautiful campus.  The murals and messages extend from the front of the campus to the back of the campus.

I teach students how tp create a concept for a mural, draw up a rough draft, apply the drawing to the wall, and then how to paint the mural from the background to the foreground.
